The Nyon-based fuel treatment leader certified B Corp.
Aderco were featured in Bilan magazine! The following text is translated from French.
Largely unknown to the general public, the Nyon-based company Aderco , a global leader in fuel treatment, is gaining attention with the achievement of B Corp certification. The label, a mark of strong ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices, will allow the company to highlight its expertise and its 100% plant-based solution developed since 2007. When added to fuel, it enhances fuel efficiency while also maintaining and cleaning engines. The product is currently used in transport vessels as well as in mining operations.
Founded in Quebec in 1981, Aderco relocated to Nyon in 2014. Its CEO, Olivier Baiwir , sees B Corp certification as a way to "differentiate from the competition in the market" and emphasizes the long process that began in 2007, which guided the company toward obtaining the certification. "It's a holistic approach. From the business strategy to the product itself, but also logistics strategy and human resources management. It's a global initiative that involves the entire company on a daily basis."
With offices in the UK, Singapore, and Belgium, the 30-employee company saves 7.5 tons of CO2 for every liter of its 2055G solution . To date, Aderco treats 20 billion liters of fuel annually.
